Russia unveils new info on US involvement in Ukraine biolabs
Russia reveals that the United States' involvement in the Ukrainian Biolabs scandal goes a lot below the surface, as the Pentagon authorized and funded the research and development of biological weapons in Ukraine.
Moscow has discovered new information proving the Pentagon's involvement in developing components for biological weapons in Ukraine, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said Saturday.
According to Konashenkov, the MoD is still examining documents from employees in the Ukrainian Biolabs, which link the United States to the biological military activity in Ukraine.
"Experts from the Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops discovered while examining the documents that there was new information proving the US Defense Department's direct involvement in developing components for biological weapons in Ukraine," the Russian spokesperson added.
"The Pentagon's aforementioned experiments were not limited to developing pathogens; they involved testing various unregistered medicines on Ukrainian soldiers," he revealed.
Konashenkov said the Pentagon had struck a deal with a private pharmaceutical firm while noting that his ministry would provide documents proving that project U-Pi-2 had been formulated and given the green light in Pentagon.
"The main objective of this project was to perform a molecular analysis of particularly dangerous endemics in Ukraine; this involved taking samples of the pathogen from old cattle cemeteries in order to obtain new strains of anthrax," Konashenkov said.
Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland had said Ukraine had "biological research facilities," and the United States is concerned that they could come under the control of the Russian forces.
Data on biological laboratories found in Ukraine does not help the case of the US against claims regarding its compliance with the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC), Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova had said.
Additionally, Moscow found that President Biden's son, Hunter, helped finance military research into dangerous pathogens at Biolabs in Ukraine is true, according to new emails from his infamous laptop.
